Eric Jansen is Managing Director at Eastdil Secured focusing on pan-European logistics transactions. He has been at the heart of some of the world’s largest real estate deals over the past few years. With his almost 20 years of real estate investment banking experience, Eric has managed and advised on large-scale transactions totalling more than €175 billion, ranging from platform M&A, multi-jurisdictional portfolios and platform trades to large single-asset deals.

- 20 years of global experience in finance, real estate and loan sales advisory work and real estate investment banking.

Tom Waite

Tom is responsible for logistics and industrial capital markets across Europe for JLL and has over 15 years’ experience in the sector. Tom is based in the EMEA Capital markets team in London and co-ordinates JLL’s logistics and industrial capital markets network across Europe. He specialises in advising a range of clients on the acquisition, disposal, funding and development of logistics real estate, most recently with a focus on large single country transactions, cross-border portfolios and joint ventures. Tom joined JLL in 2011 following the King Sturge merger, where he worked in the European Investment team specialising in the logistics sector.

Charles Pease

With 30 years’ international experience in the real estate logistics and industrial sector, Charles Pease has substantial occupational and business experience. Prior to joining GXO, formerly part of XPO Logistics, which is now the world’s largest pure play contract logistics provider, Charles worked at several Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 corporates including SEGRO PLC, General Electric and Walt Disney. He now oversees all of GXO’s real estate matters in Europe which comprises 500 locations in 15 countries and a portfolio totalling 6 million square metres supported by a team of ten real estate professionals.

Paul Robert Rodger
UREP
Managing Director Europe
Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Real Estate Investment, multi country and discipline, operational asset management.
From 2006 – 2017 Paul Rodger was the European Property Director of Hansteen Holdings PLC and in 2017 he transacted the sale of Hansteens €1.3bn Dutch and German portfolio to Blackstone. Since 2010 he has presided over €2.9bn of property acquisitions and €3.2bn of disposals across seven European countries. Paul built best-in-class asset and property management teams for Hansteen and Urban Real Estate Partners across multiple disciplines in seven countries servicing over 3,000 tenants, and €160m annual rent across 347 properties. He established the Urban Real Estate Partners platform in late 2017 providing full asset management services on a portfolio of logistics, warehousing and light industrial properties across seven European countries. In 2018, alongside the logistics strategy, Paul formed a European light industrial mandate which held in excess of €250m of gross assets across three countries before facilitating its ultimate sale to Blackstone in April 2021.

Andrew Wooler
Investec Property Fund

Andrew Wooler has been part of the Fund’s executive management team since joining Investec in August 2012, at which time the Fund had R2 billion of local assets. Since then, he has played an integral role in the growth of the Fund’s South African portfolio and the creation and investment into all of the Fund’s offshore platforms. Andrew fulfilled the position of Chief Financial Officer from August 2015 until 1 December 2018, when he became Joint Chief Executive Officer of the Fund. Prior to this, Andrew spent eight years in London, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, worked in corporate finance and later headed up the team at Caesars Entertainment UK, which was responsible for driving profitability and rolling out new business opportunities across the EMEA region.

Darryl Mayers
Investec Property Fund

Darryl Mayers has been involved in various roles in the property industry since the late 1980s. After having spent eight years at Investec, four years of which were with Investec Property Proprietary Limited (IP), Darryl acquired Vered Estates Proprietary Limited in 2002 and fulfilled the role of Managing Director until 2008 when he re-joined IP. Darryl has since held various leadership roles within IP, including the Head of Retail Developments and the Head of the South African Trading and Development business until his appointment as Joint Chief Executive Officer of the Fund on 01 December 2018.

Emma Crosby
Television Presenter, Former Anchor at Channel Five
Emma is a well known and experienced UK television journalist, currently presenting on Sky News. From 2011-2015, Crosby anchored Channel Five’s flagship national evening news programme ‘5 News”. Prior to ‘5 News’, Crosby co-hosted the popular ITV breakfast show GMTV, and from 2003-2008 presented on Sky News where her coverage of the Glasgow Airport terror attack earned her and her team a BAFTA for best news coverage.
Crosby started her career as a business presenter at CNBC, broadcasting out of London and New York, and later was Sky News’ business presenter during the 2008 financial crisis. Crosby’s passion is travel writing and she is a proud ambassador for the charities SOS Villages, RSPCA and Kicks Count.
Alongside Crosby’s broadcasting career, she is an experienced conference host, moderator and awards presenter. Crosby has worked with a wide range of businesses from multinationals to SME’s and trade associations; helping them deliver fantastic events. Clients come from the world of banking, retail, pharmaceuticals, telecoms, media, technology, construction, services, manufacturing, events and charities. With Crosby’s background in financial journalism, she takes real pleasure in working with companies to understand their business and their goals for the event. And, after spending years anchoring TV news she is well equipped to handle anything that gets thrown her way and get the best out of speakers joining her on stage.
